Plug'n'go is a Door chime with a wire-free push button and a chime unit that simply plugs into any mains socket. The 'DC Series' offers unique features in door chime and paging technology. The push button unit enables simple operation of the plug-in door chime module anywhere in the house. In addition it could also be used to summon help from a neighbour in the event of distress. It is possible to use two sets of door chimes set to the same internal frequency ensuring the chime is heard both upstairs and downstairs with push button units fitted to both front and back doors. The chime unit is also portable and can be plugged into any mains power socket around the home. This new long range version features many new enhancements. The company's MD, Shawn Downey explained," we now use a dual stage super heterodyne receiver section which is far superior and stable than lower cost Super-Regenerative receiver technology. We have still retained the 8 bit digital sequence code from the push buttons which we originally deployed in 1996. It was this code technology that eliminated the original issues from other manufactures that caused false chiming from Taxis. By making one product with both technologies combined we have created one of the most technically advanced door chimes in the market today”.
