AEI Launch their latest Video Sender Product... The DigiSender Plug'n'Go

Claimed to be the worlds smallest Video Sender for domestic use the DigiSender Plug'n'Go is available in the UK from all Argos stores and featured in their new Autumn/Winter catalogue

"Never before has a Video Sender been launched in such a way!". That was the message from Dan Rogers, the UK based designer of AEI’s latest introduction, the DigiSender DX1000 Plug'n'Go.

Never before had a video sender been released that was so small that it could be positioned in line with a scart lead. It was this that led to the phrase ‘simply transmits what travels on your scart leads all ‘round your home’. This statement alone, explained Dan, was revolutionary because for the first time a large swathe of the public could grasp the concept of what a video sender could achieve in a way that was simple and straight forward to understand.

"never before has a Video Sender been launched in such a way"

Whilst the concept of the DX1000 Plug'n'Go was devised by the company’s MD in late 2005, Dan explained, “it wasn’t too long before the ‘Mac’ was fired up and within a few days we had full renders available of what the product would look like and now you can see the product for real I guess it’s something to be proud of and I certainly feel that way”. “Something that’s British and designed from the heart!”.

Dan continued jokingly, “You never know what to expect when you arrive at AEI in the morning, we are constantly coming up with new ideas and it’s an exciting environment to be in but I've always got some paracetamol to hand”.

The Plug'n'Go DX1000 offers a tremendous array of features and when you unpack the box you’ll receive a transmitter, receiver, scart extension cable which is offered just in case you don’t have enough depth behind your source equipment and two power supplies. The company also offer Instruction manuals in English, French or German.

No lengthy setting up required – simply plug and play. AEI have added some tremendous features to this new model. As well as the system being pre-configured with the use of both scart in and scart out the instructions as to where to plug each device are marked on the actual units. This also means that you never loose your scart socket on the back of the either your Source equipment or your bedroom TV.

"so small it can be placed discreetly behind your satellite box"

Compact and discreet transmitter and receiver units. Because the transmitter and receiver units are so small they can be placed discreetly behind your satellite or bedroom TV maintaining a neat a tidy set up.

Full SCART signal through pass to existing equipment. This is great if you already have a DVD player, Satellite Receiver or similar source device in your bedroom. It also provides full scart through pass which means that you will not loose all-important signal quality if you have an RGB based DVD player.

"works with all makes of DVD, Freeview and Satellite boxes including HD"

Does not interfere with your existing setup. Because the Plug & Go Transmitter connects in-line with existing scart cables it will not alter the way the family normally select their channels and various source equipment on a day to day basis. This avoids agitated kids scrambling to watch their favorite Disney Channel soap much to the announce of many a parent.

    "features super long range"

Super long range means it can transmit all around your home. At the heart of every DigiSender is a super low noise transmitter and receiver section. The company pride themselves on circuit design that surpasses our competitors and it is for this reason that many customers make statements along the lines of “I connected it up and it simply works”. You can check comments yourself simply by accessing the internet.

Works with all makes of DVD, DVDr, Satellite, Digital and VCR units. Technology used within the DX1000 is proven to work with just about every make of set top box including the latest Sky+ and Sky+ HD boxes.

Through pass connections on Receiver for Games console connection. At the simple flick of a switch the receiver can be set to receive signals from the transmitter or from the scart input connector at the back of the receiver which acts as a through pass connector.

Remote relay function allows you to control source equipment from receiving location. AEI’s experience with remote Relay circuitry is the best in the industry. They were the first company to develop IrDA relay technology 4 years and ago (used on Telewest and NTL set top Cable Receivers) and have built this technology into the company’s more expensive DigiSender models. “We remain the only company today to have achieved record breaking software and hardware design and our basic functions are built in to this model as standard”.

The future. AEI already have plans in hand to offer derivatives of their entire range of products and have a proven and rapid deployment program from design to working sample. As suppliers to leading blue chip retailers throughout Europe, AEI work at a partnership with their leading customers providing a degree of exclusivity and flexibility in a trusting relationship.

More products ideas to come. In the pipeline is the new DigiSender Zentrum VII. This is an enhanced version of their existing Zentrum model but includes IrDA remote Relay for NTL and Telewest cable receivers as well as a clever Parental control facility. This new feature is great for switching off transmissions to a childs room whilst maintaining all the original signal switching functions. The company also plan to launch their new DigiSender X7 later in the year.
